Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) carefully before using Memories Companion (“the App”), developed by Anurag Tiwari (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
By accessing or using Memories Companion, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Memories Companion is a free macOS application that lets you send photos and videos from a folder of your choice, or your Mac Photos library, to the Memories iPhone app over your local Wi-Fi network. The App is the Mac companion to the Memories iPhone app and is not intended for use without it.
Memories Companion is provided free of charge. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, and no advertising.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using Memories Companion, you represent that you meet this requirement.
You retain all ownership rights to the photos, videos, and other content you transfer through the App. We do not claim any ownership or license to your content. Your content stays on your Mac and your iPhone — we do not have access to it at any time.
You agree not to use the App to:
The App advertises a Bonjour service on your local Wi-Fi network and accepts connections from devices that present a valid 6-digit pairing PIN. You are responsible for using the App on networks you trust and for keeping your pairing PIN private.
The App is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, photos, or content arising out of or related to your use of the App.
You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your photos. We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure, network failure, app deletion, iCloud issues, or any other cause. We strongly recommend keeping original copies of your photos outside of the App.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend the App or its updates at any time, without notice. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your Mac.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
